Ongoing Research | 2nd Quarter 2008 Update - The Creating WE Institute and its members are currently engaged in a range of research across a wide spectrum. Working in teams and individually, CWI members are exploring topics affecting the workplace, including: • Appreciative Inquiry • Brain Research • Brand Aspects* • Gender Intelligence • Generative Connectivity • High Performing Virtual Teams • Organizational Change • Sustainability • Thought Leadership *How Brand Strategy, Leadership and other aspects affect the whole of the organization represented. Jung, PhD: DiscoveryChannel.com Intelligence: Do We Get It? | MSNBC Smarts Require Teamwork in the Brain | CNN Genius: The Quest for Extreme Brain Power M&A Research by CWI Member Committee A team CWI members led by Lisa Giruzzi is investigating a key periods in the life cycles of organizations: during mergers & acquisitions (M&As), to determine what impact “Creating (and maintaining) “WE” may have on organizational well being and business success. The team is exploring M&As in depth, interviewing senior executives with extensive M&A experience, and collecting data on best practices and other factors which may contribute to successful M&As. The team plans to publish its findings with the intention of informing, and hopefully, positively impacting M&A activity globally.
